BP Scholarship Programme enables outstanding Azerbaijani graduates to pursue a course of post-graduate studies in the UK. These scholarships are funded by BP and administered by the British Council.

BP Scholarship programme is intended for the promotion of economic and social development in Azerbaijan and improvement of the welfare of the Azerbaijani people. It enables Azerbaijani bright young professionals to contribute to the prosperity and sustainable development of the country and influence positive change.

These awards cover the costs of study (including living expenses and international flights) in the UK up to 12 months. They are made on a competitive basis for Master's degree programmes in the fields of:

Public Administration
Banking, Finance and Accounting
Economics


Applicants must

be aged between 25 and 35
hold a higher education diploma
have at least 3 years of professional work experience in a relevant field
have not already lived or studied outside Azerbaijan for an extended period of time
have a good command of English
How to Apply

The application form for the academic year 2007/2008 is already available. The deadline is 18:00, 15 January 2007. Your course of study should be directly relevant to the development of your organisation’s field of professional activity. You will need to state in your application how your proposal will help your career and personal development on your return to Azerbaijan, your plans for the future and to comment on your leadership potential.

If your formal application is of high quality and represents a well-developed proposal you will be interviewed and invited for an English Language Assessment Test. The selection committee makes the final decision on whether you will be considered as a candidate for the BP programme. Preference is given to candidates already established in a career.

Note: Please note that the British Council Baku office will be closed from Monday 25th December until Tuesday 2nd January.

We also encourage applicants to submit applications in plenty of time before the deadline.

BP Azerbaijan 2007 Production Technicians Recruitment Program

Рекомендую попытаться тем у которых высшее техническое образование (граждане Аз-на). В прошлом году три моихтоварища - лезгины устроились туда. Знание англ. языка необязательно хотя и желательно. После поступления на работу, ровно год обучение, в том числе и англ. и по спецу.
Анкеты принимаются до 26 января.
Попытайтесь, не очень сложно.

В British Council of Azerbaijan проводят экзамен CPI (certificate of professional in english). Удачно сдавшим экзамен предоставляется сертификат Кембриджского университета. Это престижнее диплома магистра Университета Иностранных Языков. Так что можно не учась в инязе 6 лет получить такой диплом, да еще Кембриджский. Для экзамена должна набраться группа в 4 человека. Но экзамен очень сложный
